Image Entertainment has announced they are no longer releasing silent films.
That might be the reason. |

| I have heard that Mr. Agee will be offering his new set privately by mail order later this year. |

| Aw man, too bad he can't strike a deal with Flicker Alley ala David Shepard. It would be a great pity if this set was not released on real DVDs. |

Or Kino International. Or New Line, considering they put out the Harold Lloyd dvd's. |

| Laughsmith Entertainment or Milestone would be good too. |

| Has anybody heard anything new? I hate to be a pain and keep asking, but I don't know of any other site to go to to get reliable information (which I guess is a tip of the hat to you guys...) |

I second that question.
Will this ever come out? I hope Michael Agee is doing well. |

This is what I found on www.hometheaterforum.com Can anyone confirm that this is indeed from Michael and not from some prankster? Thanks!
We are ready to accept orders. We originally priced this at $399 in a shoebox-sized epic similar to the thing put out in the UK a few years ago. (Of course, the key difference is that you can actually SEE our masters.) Someone asked the very sensible question--"do we really need ANOTHER shoebox full of DVD's? For which the customer has to pay?" I decided, "No", and compressed everything onto twelve double-layered discs, designed them into a "slim pac" design with a beautiful color booklet displaying all the L&H one sheets full page, and retailing it for $199.99--two hundred dollars (half of our originally planned price). With the dollar in the "censored", those in other countries will have a real steal on their hands.
A "Paypal" ordering page is going up in a week or so with a pre-publication discount price of $180--AND the first 50 to order right now will immediately be sent a set of the beautiful Al Herschfeld lithographs, the one sheets on BIG BUSINESS and DOUBLE WHOOPEE, printed at a very frameable 16x20.
Our publication date is set for December 15.
Of course, we accept orders by mail as well.

| Does anyone know what happened to the boxset that booklover described? Sadly, there aren't any collections by the great comedy duo. |
